Fluid Heritage rewrites history, symbols, colours and and references are taken out of their familiar context and are given new meaning. The flow of culture and heritage is dynamic and playful and constantly in motion. There is no future without the past. Remixing and reusing elements of existing traditions creates new, playful expressions.
The Fluid Heritage colour direction is not just about nostalgia; it is a modern interpretation of history, of symbols, of clothing, of sport. By drawing from archives and mixing different elements, it creates a bridge between the past and the present, and shows how cultural heritage can be reimagined.
The colours are a powerful tool to tell new stories. Each colour carries the weight and symbolism of history and while embracing the vibrancy of contemporary culture. The result is a recreation of old aesthetics where the present reshapes our understanding of the past. The colours are iconic colours of the clubs, brands and design icons that are historical classics. Using these colours in a different context propels them into the future.
