People aspire to live a life of enhanced existence and use technology to improve their lives. Some people may find AI and other advanced technologies scary, but by being open-minded towards technological developments, the focus is on its possibilities. Being open-minded means being willing to experiment and try new things, seeing technology as a natural resource that can help us achieve our aspirations and goals, much like WIFI. Health is one area where technology will play an increasingly significant role, helping people to achieve physical well-being and healthier lifestyles.
Our attention span and patience have become much shorter due to constant notifications, emails and social media updates. We have become accustomed to instant gratification, and the ability to concentrate for extended periods has been compromised. This is likely to increase as technology becomes faster, more invisible and ubiquitous, and we expect technology to be seamless, fluid and easy to integrate into our daily lives.
We lead layered lives with multiple interwoven identities and personas across different platforms and contexts. As we navigate our layered lives, different identities intersect and influence one another. The digital world has become a playground for new social interactions, but a fully functioning tech existence is still in its early stages. The more it develops, the more we may appreciate moments of disconnection, low- or non-tech options to reconnect with the physical world, potentially making offline moments more precious and seen as a luxury. A desired life in the future will have the best of both worlds, and technological existence will feel natural.

The future of work is rapidly evolving, and one of the key drivers of this change is the integration of artificial intelligence (AI). AI can help avoid biases in decision-making and create insights from vast amounts of data to make strategic decisions.
This technology has the potential to revolutionise the way we work, making us more productive and efficient while reducing the potential for errors and biases.
Humans are still needed for the result, but AI can make the work process more efficient. AI will be used as an assistant for lesser tasks (transcribing meetings, quick visualisations, keeping things up to date etc.) rather than completely replacing our jobs.
There should be more faith in the human ability to continue their work as part of their passion and meaning for life (new skill-learning, new experiences, meeting people and communities, helping others); people will be willing to develop their personal skillsets and further their progress from their own passion.

With AI, anyone can be a creator. It allows people to evolve any initial idea into multiple design options by creating unlimited iterations of the same concept, bouncing ideas back and forth to visualise options and speed up the design process.
Future skills
As AI takes over more of our repetitive, simple, and super-complex tasks, it will free our time for human analysis, big-picture thinking and strategy. As a result, creativity, 3D thinking and the ability to collaborate with technology will be important in the future.

Embedded
As the world becomes increasingly automated, sports will play an essential role in our physical and mental well-being. What will we do with our free time, given that we have less work to do due to automation and AI?
Technology becomes increasingly embedded in our lives and sports will become more connected and interactive, creating new opportunities for socialization and competition.
E-sports has a huge following worldwide, with professional leagues and tournaments attracting millions of viewers. The development of new sports incorporating technology, such as coached VR workouts or dance moves, provides an opportunity for innovation when combined with other media and entertainment.
Real-time 3D visualizations of crucial moments and performance tracking can enhance the viewing experience for fans and provide valuable insights for athletes and coaches. The intersection of sports and technology will continue to evolve.
We can look forward to a future where physical activity and digital experiences are seamlessly integrated to enhance our overall health and wellness. Technology can use nudges, such as reminders or alerts, to encourage us to make healthier choices, such as taking a break or walking. By leveraging technology to teach us about healthy habits and nudge us towards healthier behaviours, we can create a culture of wellness and empower individuals to take control of their health.

Personalisation
The growth rate of AI intelligence is remarkable, doubling every 18 months, and it could increase even faster if we are open to other types of intelligence. AI presents an opportunity to access new dimensions of knowledge and information that go beyond human capabilities.
The widespread adoption of artificial intelligence technologies is impacting the human condition and society in ways that are still hard to oversee.
Guidelines and regulation is needed for a human-centred approach to AI technologies; they should be ethical, fair and aimed at improving the human condition while respecting human cognitive capabilities. While there are concerns about the impact of AI on human employment and society as a whole, the emergence of this new form of intelligence also presents opportunities for innovation and growth.
The rise of AI and personalized media has created a world where individuals are increasingly exposed to information and perspectives tailored to their preferences and beliefs.
This can lead to a fragmentation of society, where people become polarized and divided and unable to communicate effectively with people that have different views. The challenge for media and AI is to find ways to balance personalization with a broader understanding of society and its values and to create space for meaningful dialogue and debate errors and biases.

This intelligent use of data enables media to be personalized. AI has sped up this process where the mass of society has been replaced by the specific individual.
Your view
Society depends on cohesion. If, due to AI, your information and perspective is unique to you, how to create cohesion in an already divided world?
