Vision 2023

Executive Summary

1/ Nature First

The first chapter of Vision 2023 is Nature First about the need for a closer, more humble, spiritual connection to planet Earth for a society of value. The truths about how we should live signify cultural and social shifts to simultaneously look at human health and wellbeing, economic activity, ecosystem health and our relationship with nature.

2/ Empowerment

The second chapter, Empowerment examines that a crisis offers an opportunity to form a new world, to build better, stronger, more resilient and more equal societies. Many people face intersectional forms of discrimination that limit their access to economic rights. Tackling inequality requires a thorough overhaul of worldwide growth, social policies and an honest investigation of racism and prejudice.

3/ Universal Healing

Universal Healing examines the amazing ability to adapt and thrive that humans have. We need a humanitarian break to recover from everything we have been through. The increased need for mental well-being, human support, positivity, beauty and comfort will continue long after the Covid-19 virus outbreak. Well-being and happiness will be a higher priority for everyone in society.

4/ Decentralised World

The final chapter Decentralised World expresses that the pandemic has shown how much we can do with technology, but that we still live with the legacy of the Web 2.0 era. The transition to an internet of value requires that we own our data. Within the next two decades, technological advancements could revolutionise the Internet and create an environment that is safe for everyone, empower people and where an immersive virtual reality experience is a part of everyday life.
